“Charm can mislead and beauty soon fades. The woman to be admired and praised is the woman who lives in the Fear-of-God.” ~Proverbs 31:30
This bible verse is one of my favorite. It brings alive and puts in perspective the weight of outward graces and what really constitutes a principled woman. When I think about what it means to live in the fear of God, it goes beyond merely having respect and reverence, but rests on what I call a heart that yearns to please God, notwithstanding imperfections. This desire to please God motivates me to seek God’s answers for daily living. Sometimes it can be a challenge especially in the world in which we live today. The road less traveled is not the trending #hashtag.
But, woman-to-be-admired, you are set apart – different and unique! Woman-to-be-admired, remain encouraged and continue to let your light shine! Your virtue, love for, and obedience to God are your crowning jewels! Rest on this! XOXO – Chante💜 #ButGod
