Our community garden

We adopted a community garden plot.  And, I got to see it for the first time today.  Yay!  It’s ours for a year to plant, harvest and donate a share.  I haven’t cultivated a garden before, but I’m sure there are enough YouTube videos out there to make me a green thumb gardener.  And, I can always call my father; the masterful gardener. I recall one of his squash being the size of a giant. Lol! I can’t wait to plant organic fruits, vegetables, herbs, etc.

Continue to follow my journey to see what becomes of this worthy cause.  Also, please share with me your suggestions on what is best to plant.   I’m all ears.

By the way, can you guess what the green veggie pictured above is?    That’s right, collard greens. It was left over from the previous harvest.

Have you taken on any aspirations lately?
